Terms of Service

Bettro ("the service") is a client workspace for creative studios, operated by Outlign. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. Staff accounts are for members of your studio team; client accounts are for the clients you invite.

You agree not to: use the service for unlawful purposes; upload malicious software; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems; abuse the AI features (including attempts to extract system prompts or generate harmful content); or resell access without permission.

Nelson, our AI coworker, generates suggestions based on your workspace data. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete — you are responsible for reviewing it before acting on it or sharing it with clients. We use third-party AI providers; availability of AI features depends on those providers.

You retain ownership of all content you create in Bettro. You grant us a licence to store and process it solely to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your work.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for data loss beyond our backup obligations — we recommend you keep your own copies of critical work.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted per our retention policy (see Privacy Policy).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if no fees were paid). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
